Pastoral Residency Program
THE PASTORAL RESIDENCY PROGRAM occurs in the context of the local church and does not require its participants to leave their current vocation. We believe that in order to see churches planted, a bi-vocational model of ministry will need to be encouraged. Small evangelical communities financially supporting full-time pastors in urban settings where the cost of living is high is not a reproducible model. This 2 - 3 year program is designed to equip and prepare potential pastors to effectively carry out their pastoral calling via a personally contextualized program that includes:
theological and leadership formation
hands-on ministry experience connected with experienced pastors/church-planters
mentoring and coaching relationships
personal, spiritual and emotional development
