About the foundation
In short the Kyra Karr Foundation exists to glorify God by equipping and supporting the local church. The Karr family is a member of Breccia di Roma in Rome, Italy. Godly and biblical leadership has taught them to love and serve the body of Christ and recognize its centrality in God’s plan of salvation for those who don’t know Christ as Savior. Kyra recognized this and, therefore, dedicated her life to serving the church through working and praying for its growth and multiplication in Rome, Italy and beyond.
About Breccia ministries
The churches Breccia di Roma and Breccia di Roma San Paolo, with whom the KKF is principally partnered, pray that through the evangelistic efforts of the churches there will be a breach (una breccia) of the Gospel into the city, penetrating the hearts and minds of the people who live there and destroying the strongholds that Satan has on the city and its people. The KKF hopes to play a valuable role in these efforts.
About Kyra (1984-2015)
No description of Kyra’s life would be satisfactory or complete without an emphasis on her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christ was everything for Kyra. He shaped and molded every aspect of her life. He made her the mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend that she was to so many. She was truly the aroma of Christ, and the light of Christ shone brightly in her wherever she went.
